Things have been pretty hectic here, and Vega Vinyl has been slowly rolling along. So, to grease the old VV wheels I thought I’d give you guys a little summer update. I’ve added a few new distro items to the store. A few of them (Rocky Votolato, Mouth of the Architect, Kenoma, The Cancer Conspiracy) come from the good people over at Gilead Media, and the other two (Gifts From Enola, If These Trees Could Talk) come from my friends over at The Mylene Sheath. All of these records are phenomenal, and I’ve only got a couple copies of each, so pick them up while you can! Here’s what we’ve got in stock:

On to slightly more exciting news, though not being released by Vega Vinyl, Rosetta, Constants, Year of No Light, and East of the Wall have new records either out or coming out soon!

Rosetta just released their third full length, entitled A Determinism of Morality, through Translation Loss on CD. The record is beautiful and I can’t wait to see some more of these tracks live. Pick it up if you haven’t already, or if you are waiting for the vinyl version, Music Fear Satan will be releasing that later this year (I can’t wait!).

On July 20th, Translation Loss will also be releasing East of the Wall second full length, entitled Ressentiment, on CD. I haven’t heard the record yet, but I’m super stoked for it to come in the mail. I haven’t heard any news on a vinyl release just yet.

Year of No Light have also released another full length this year, entitled Ausserwelt. This record is heavy as the dickens. It’s true. Pick up the CD through Conspiracy Records, or the vinyl through Music Fear Satan.

Last but not least, Constants have a new record entitled If Tomorrow The War coming out laster this year. A cover hasn’t been shown and a date hasn’t been set as up yet, but you can currently hear two tracks up at their website here. The record was produced by Justin K. Broadrick (of Jesu/Godflesh), and features guest appearances by members of Comeback Kid, Sights & Sounds, and Tombs. If the songs up on their site are any indication of the record, it’s going to be quite the delight.

To top off all this fantastic news off, summer is upon us and this means it’s touring season for many bands. A few bands on the Vega Vinyl roster are hitting the road, and this means you should be heading out to have your minds blown soon.
